Active Arcade is a new title that gives a very interesting twist to the genre of games created to encourage movement: using your Android device's camera and a technology that's similar to what's used by the already classic 'Eye Toy' or 'Kinect' peripherals. In short, Active Arcade offers you the chance to use your body to participate in the countless free tests and mini-games it has to offer.

Playing Active Arcade couldn't be easier: once you've opened the app, all you have to do is select the mini-game you want to try. This will open your device's camera, which will show a silhouette of the position you should adopt in order to play the game as well as you can. Each mini-game has its own mechanics, but practically all of them consist of waving your arms to hit objects or prevent them from hitting you.

Although there's no way to enjoy these games with your friends, there's still plenty of fun to be had and enough novelty to make this app worth a try.
